Latham Hall, is an 84,000 square foot, state-of-the-art agriculture and natural resources research and teaching facility. It houses research areas that include biodesign, bioprocessing, fisheries and wildlife, geography, forestry, water, and other programs.

This research lab is one of J.E. Jamerson’s largest projects to date and required thoughtful planning as there was limited access to the central-campus site. A deep foundation system was required due to unstable rock. The facility is a cast-in-place concete structure and possesses a unique blend of "Hokie Stone" veneer and concrete on the exterior.
